401 Business Park

Milton’s 401 Business Park includes Highway 401 frontage and two major interchanges, making it a crucial site for the area’s growth as a major employment area within the GTA. The Secondary Plan outlines a vision for the area that takes into account its strategic location as well as the area’s unique rural and Escarpment landscape. Significant sections of the Secondary Plan region and neighbouring lands have already been developed with commercial, employment, institutional, and residential uses. The Urban Design Guidelines cover the required interface between varying land use conditions and direct new plans to improve a unified identity through the design of building components, landscaping, roads, parking, and site features, as well as flood control and green reserve areas, in order to achieve a cohesive uniqueness.
